I've never watched the show Psych before, however I may have to start: according to the commercials I've been seeing of late tonight's episode is basically an unofficial Twin Peaks reunion. YES PLEASE! :) That has the potential to be oh so very, very awesome...

Psych is WONDERFUL. I have watched it since the beginning. I'm pretty sure they have made XF references. (And do you watch Castle?)

They had a few episodes of Psych on this morning and they were quite enjoyable. So I will definitely have to check out some more. And XF references make it all the better (got halfway through S5 in the great XF rewatch before I went to my parents for Thanksgiving LOL).

And I LOVE Castle. Seriously love. Haven't quite gotten to the fanfic writing stage yet, but I'm close. I'm always a couple of episodes behind because I watch online rather than on TV (lack of money = canceled cable :( ) but I'm pretty up to date on what's going on. Talk about frustrating UST...damn.

I too lack cable (gave it up... what, maybe almost 4 years ago? wow), but Hulu is my lover. LOL. Just wait till you get to "Close Encounters of the Murderous Kind". OMG.

I need to get back in my XF rewatch. I left off at "Ascension". LIFE. OY.

I'm only about five months into the cable give-up, but so far so good. Hulu's great! I'm often at Surf The Channel myself...we're very good friends. ;)

If that episode's the one with a certain guest star I heard about, then I'm thinking OMG is an understatement... *veg*

The great thing about the rewatch is that it's totally reminding me just why I fell in love with XF in the first place. And I'm still totally proud to call myself a shipper. :)

Oh man. Just saw the latest episode posted on Surf The Channel (S3 ep9). Can we say Holy Crap Fandom Collision?! That was even better than the return of Captain Tightpants in 'Vampire Weekend.' I spent more time cackling than paying attention. It's nice to know Bowman hasn't forgotten what's come before, lol.

Between Castle whistling a certain theme tune, certain camera shots and angles that were definitely reminiscent of XF, most of the episode for that matter, Castle's impromptu Chinese leading to another Firefly reference, and topped off by a possibly unintentional but one can never be sure shout out in that I'm pretty sure Castle was wearing the Tenth Doctor's outfit for half the episode (brown jacket with blue pinstripes and a blue button down shirt)....yeah. Total and utter fangirl glee. :)
