Just a wee bit of information needed, if anyone passes by it on their friends list and sees it and can help!

*hopeful look* I'll make you cookies. And I'll write fic (a special one just at your request plus the one that I need this question answered for)! :)

Basically, I just need to know if we have an exact date stamp or a general time as to when 'Last of the Time Lords' took place. I know that DW isn't exactly the best as for coming up with linear dates or even dates that just plain old make sense, but I need to know because when LotTL ends is when the story starts, and the ending of it has to take place at a certain time of year...so yeah. Any thoughts you guys have would definitely be appreciated!

Oh, very helpful - I think of Tish's outfit and that tells me somewhere in mid-spring. I'm not sure it'd be summer, because there were quite a few people walking around in that first scene still wearing jackets and the like, and I'm guessing it wasn't fall because there wasn't a lot of color changing going on in the trees (however that could be the Rhode Island girl in me coming out, LOL).

Also I remember when they met Jack, and in the subsequent Sound of Drums when they're back in modern times (I'd set it 2008 as well) there are quite a few people wearing jackets and coats as well...so maybe I'd set it in March of that year? I remember being in London and the south of England in a March once, and it was an absolutely gorgeous day and I ended up shucking off the heavy coat and going around in a t-shirt and skirt. So maybe it'd happen in March/April?

So, any requests for your fic? *g* Just let me know what you'd like to see! The fic I asked this question for is going to take a lot of time and a lot of research to get done, so yours will probably come first... ;)

I know - I keep transposing New England weather onto what I see, then I think, wait, hang on, seasons aren't quite the same there....and, to top it off, they're always filming the last few episodes in jan/feb, so I suppose the actors' costumes aren't necessarily useful in telling the season (like in 'Runaway Bride' which they filmed in July and had to write into the script as a very hot December...).

and, you'll write me a ficlet, really? *squee*

then...I'd love to see Rose and the Doctor meeting dinosaurs, or any of the other crazy animals from the Triassic/Jurassic, really. Like drepanosaurus...Crazy stuff.
And thanks! Good luck with the fic! :)

Okay, I'll tell you right now that I suck at ficlets...we're already at 3600 words and still going for your fic. *g* Am aiming to have it done by the end of the week though, and then I can get started on [livejournal.com profile] dark_aegis's 'ficlet' as well. I'll warn you right now - it's a bit silly...:D
