It's okay if you panicked at that part - it's kind of what it was there for, however he could easily be swayed, especially when it's Rose doing the swaying.
Hee, I was waiting for someone to pick up on that one little word I tossed in all of those chapters ago! That's the whole reason it was in there. That and really, if Gemma's in the middle of a state of panic, I think the aliases are going to be one of the first things she forgets. ;)
