Yes, your bribe worked, dammit. :) Chapter 12's written and back from the betas; I'm thinking it'll be posted Friday morning. That being said, by that night I'll be holed up in a hotel in another state, so hopefully I'll be safe from the people ready to kill me for the next cliffhanger (and believe me - they will. The last comment from one of the betas was "ARGH!"). Worse comes to worse I can hole up in the trunk of my boyfriend's police cruiser, those are usually pretty safe (unless he backs over a rock again... *facepalm*).
My mouth is watering looking at those pics. It all looks amazing, meaning there are too many recipes I want, hehe. Let me ponder and I'll get back to you on that (curried fruit bake? As a lover of Indian cuisine just the sound of that makes me very happy...) I'm glad to hear the party went well and smooth as well! That always makes for a good time (runaway siblings aside).
You can laugh at the Brazil thing - I certainly did. ;) Then the theme to 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' started playing in my head, because sometimes I feel like I'm living that.
Re story: oh, this is definitely staying AU, no fear. After seeing the whole season, there's no way I can make the last arc, especially the whole Stolen Earth/Journey's End episodes, work with this universe. So basically after The Unicorn and the Wasp this world makes a right turn and continues on its own separate journey. Which means that Donna has her memories intact and whole always. :) Besides, how could I take away the one person who could really knock some sense into his thick head? I swear, for someone who's so alien, he really is just like every other guy....
