This Rose has grown up quite a bit, and I have to say it's rather fun to be writing her that way. ;) If she's got to be on Earth (and at least in her mind it's the Earth of her own universe and not the parallel one) she's going to enjoy it to the fullest. And it can be brilliant. :)
The 'storm is coming' line is actually swiped right from one of the earlier stories in this series, which basically had a very teeny glimpse of the scene on the boat, if only so I could presage the reunion and get that line in there. Glad you like it. :)
