I may, possibly, have mentally yelled at the Doctor while reading this one. Something along the lines of "You idiot, take the little girl by the hand and find her sister!"
It makes sense that he would revisit that statue, nice tie-in.

As always, I'm very much looking forward to more from this 'verse.
