Whoo! I didn't suck at feedback! *does a little party dance* I should clarify that my quantity of feedback sucks eggs through a thresher, but I shall gladly accept the compliment! (As my mother says, don't turn them down, you don't know when you'll get another.)

And man. I had glorious, burning rage for Bill Willingham when I picked up the first Fables trade (Oh, Tim Drake what they made him DO TO YOU), so you can imagine my surprise when he hit pretty much every bulletproof kink I have in my repertoire. Alpha dude who's hooked his wagon to a woman he adores/wants to fuck from afar? CHECK. Murder mystery? CHECK. Snarky female lead who pwns damn near everyone? CHECK. And it kept getting better and better.

They managed seven children. And the thing in the rain in the battle and the cuddling of the pelt! A WOMAN ONLY HAS SO MUCH RESISTANCE, DAMMIT.

Although, I'll admit that I kind of kissed my fingers and waved at the series after issue 50. They can ONLY WRECK SNOW AND BIGBY from here on in. I needed to walk away on a high note, otherwise I'd be in for slowly having my soul crushed over the course of the next five years. Why yes, I have read superhero books for over ten years, how could you tell?

Sigh.
