Begging for helllllp.

Is anyone out there good at Corel Paint Shop Pro? I have a free trial of the program and am attempting to make a cover for an Ashes to Ashes fanmix that I've been working on. Most of the things that I've been able to come up with...well, let's just say that a five year old could do them better. So does anyone out there have any hints so that I can make something that looks well done and mature instead of scribbled? Thanks!
