Musings on bloody age

What they've been saying about it is that it's going to take place six months after the last series ended, put them smack in the middle of the Falklands War, etc, etc... Once my math brain finally caught up with that statement, it smacked into me: six months after the last series ended would put the show taking place in April of 1982.
Crap.
It has now been officially declared that the year I was born in has been declared 'retro'. *facepalm* Happy April Fool's Day to me.... *headdesk*
On a funnier note, I'm having a good time laughing at drunken!Kitty. Not really drunken, but she was spayed yesterday and is still dopey from the anesthesia. It's surprisingly amusing.
