Fic writers question

To any of you out there used to writing Ten/Rose, do you find it difficult to move over to writing TenII? I'm trying to write a little scene, and I'm finding it really hard to write him, despite the fact that I do find him absolutely adorable. Is it just me, or is this a transition that a lot of fic writers went through? Maybe a little advice will help my head get into things. :)

(Gah, the fish smell is back outside again...bloody rain and wind. This is the sucky part of living on the coasts that no one ever tells you about....)
